ii) Smooth endoplasmic reticulum helps in the synthesis of fats.

iii) Substances formed with the help of endoplasmic reticulum are constantly involved in the process of membrane repair and synthesis.

•Smooth ER helps for process of metabolism.

•It is the transportation system of the eukaryotic cells.
