firstly the impure water is taken from alake or reservoir . itis sent to the pumping station from where it is pumped into sedimentation tank from there it is sent to the loading tank where alum is added to clean the water then it is sent to the filtaration tank where the water is passed from fine sand, coarse sand,and gravel ,to stop the large material to flow with water. then it is sent to the chlorinated tank where chlorine is added in the water to kill the pathogens. after that it is sent to the pumping station from where it is pumped into water storage tank from there it is sent to our home tapes
