• Theories like The Dynamo Effect and Ionization of the Outer Layers explain the magnetic behaviour of earth. According to Dynamo effect, the magnetic of the earth is due to charged metallic particle that is present in the outer and inner core.
• The field magnetic strength of the earth is very weak but widely distributed.
• The magnetic south pole of the earth is actually near the north pole whereas the magnetic north pole is actually near the south pole.
• The earth magnetic field has three component:-Magnetic declination, Angle of dip and the Horizontal component of the earth magnetic field.
