»Question-

draw graph for 3x+y = 7 and 4x -y = 7

\huge\mathbb\pink{Answer}

» 3x+y = 7

by putting x as 0

3(0)+y = 7

0+y = 7

y = 7

1st coordinate = (0,7)

by putting x as 3

3(3)+y = 7

9+y = 7

y = 7-9

y = -2

2nd coordinate - (3,-2)

* Note the graph will be a straight line as it is a linear equation.

» 4x -y = 7

by putting x as 2

4(2) - y = 7

8-y = 7

-y = 7-8

-y = -1

y = 1

1st coordinate = (2,1)

by putting x as 1

4(1)-y = 7

-y = 7-4

-y = 3

y = -3

2nd coordinate = (1,-3)

Now for making graph we will connect the points whose coordinates we got.

*Refer the attachment for graph.

(2,1) is the point of intersection means that it is a common solution.
