To draw a pair of tangents of a circle of radius 4 cm such that the angle between the tangents is 70 degree, steps are as follow:

1) With the help of a compass, draw a circle of radius 4cm.

2) Name the center as O.

3) Take a point P on circle.

4) Join OP and extend this segment beyond P to Q, such that, PQ is also 4cm.

5) We have OQ of total 8 cm.

6) Draw a perpendicular bisector to OQ.

7) This perpendicular bisector is the tangent to the circle and will touch the circle at point B.

8) Now taking O as center and OB as base draw a radius 110 degree to OB.

9) The point where radius meet circle, name it A.

10) Now taking A as center and AO as base draw a 90 degree angle.

11) Extent it. The point where this tangent meets previous tangent, name it C.

12) Angle between the two tangents will be 70 degrees.
