Draw a parallelogram of area 25 cm and perimeter 24 cm

We kn that in a llgm opp.sides are equal.. thus let the sides be x,y,x,y taken in order !! So that opp.sides are same ..


Now ,
Area = base * height !


So: xy=25 ; x = 25/y ————1

Now , perimeter is the sum of all sides ..

So: x+y+x+y = 24
2x + 2y = 24 ( don’t simplify)

Substitute x value !! Taken from eqn 1 :-


Thus .. we get the answer !! And form the parallelogram with the sides u get
