Answer:

Given,

The adjacent sides of the parallelogram are 2.8cm and 3.8cm.

To Draw,

A parallelogram has adjacent sides of 2.8cm and 3.8cm.

Solution,

We can simply draw the requisite diagram by following a few rules of geometry.

  • draw a line segment of 3.8cm.
  • Measure 2.8cm on one compass.
  • Keep the compass on one edge of the 3.8cm line.
  • Mark a semi-circle.
  • Then keeping in mind an acute draw a straight line from the edge to the semi-circle.
  • Then from that point of intersection, draw a line parallel to 3.8cm line. this line should be 3.8cm long.
  • Join the endpoint of the newly made 3.8cm line with the edge of the earlier 3.8cm line.
  • Now, we get our required parallelogram.

Hence, the figure thus obtained is the required parallelogram of adjacent sides of 2.8cm and 3.8cm.
