Steps followed to draw the figure,

◆Take a measure of 3.5cm in a compass.

◆Draw an arc on both above and below outside LM from L

◆ Repeat the step from M

◆Mark the bisecting points of arc as A, A'

◆ join A and A' . This line will be perpendicularly bisecting LM.

◆ U get a perpendicular bisector of LM dividing LM into two equal halves of 3.5cm.
