We are required to draw a pie chart for the languages that are spoken in Jammu and Kashmir and the pie chart will be as under:
- A pie chart is referred to a circular statistical graphic picture filled with data.
- The pie chart is divided into slices which help to illustrate the numerical proportion of the data.
- In the pie chart, the arc length of each slice will be in proportion to the quantity that it represents.
- This type of figure has been referred to as a pie chart due to its resemblance to a pie that has been sliced.
- A pie chart can be presented in many ways and the explanation of the pie chart drawn by me will be as under:
- The maximum number of people who speak Hindi in Jammu and Kashmir which is approximately 36.7%.
- This is followed by the people who speak Bengali which is 8.95%.
- Then comes the language of Telugu which 7.98% of the people speak.
- To make the chart easier all the languages that are spoken by less than 2 % of the people are clubbed under other languages.
