Draw a plant cell and label the parts which
(a) determines the function and development of the cell
(b) packages materials coming from the endoplasmic reticulum
(c) provides resistance to microbes to withstand hypotonic external media without bursting
(d) is site for many biochemical reactions necessary to sustain life.
(e) is a fluid contained inside the nucleus
Illustrate only a plant cell as seen under electron microscope. How is it different from animal

Answer:

a. The nucleus is the composition that determines the function and development of the cell.

b. Golgi body has main function of modifying, sorting and packaging the proteins, which are synthesized by cells coming from the endoplasmic reticulum. Golgi bodies form the part of cellular endomembrane system.

c. Cell wall.

d. Cytoplasm is a gel-like substance present in all cells. ... Most of the cellular activities as metabolic pathways like glycolysis, key processes like cell division occur in the cytoplasm. Hence, it is the place, where life-sustaining biochemical reactions occur.

e. The nucleoplasm is the semi-solid fluid inside the nucleus, where we find the chromatin and the nucleolus.

How is plant cell different from animal cell?

          Animal cell                         Plant cell

1. Cell wall absent          Cell wall present

2. Plastids are absent         Plastids are present

3. It has  small vacuoles     It has a large vacuole

4. Centrioles present         Centrioles absent

hope it helps !!!!
