Hi mate!

Here is your answer:

I am giving you steps to do it.

  1. The area is given to be 12 cm^2
  2. Therefore, take out some possibilities of length and breadth whose product is 12.
  3. For example, 3×4, 12×1, 2×6, 4×3, 1×12, 6×2 etc.
  4. I am taking length as 3 and breadth as 4 (you can take any)
  5. Draw the base AB of 4 cm.
  6. Construct 90° angles at both points A & B.
  7. Take 3 cm radius and draw arcs from both points A and B.
  8. Make these points C and D, where C =D =3cm
  9. Join CD.

ABCD is required rectangle.
