Answer:

Steps of construction (i) Draw a line segment AB = 3 cm (ii) Draw ∠ABX = 90º (iii) Taking centre B and radius 4 cm draw an arc which intersect the BX at the point C. (iv) Taking centre C and radius 3 cm draw an arc and taking centre A and radius 4 cm draw a another arc which intersect the previous arc at the point D. (v) Join AD and CD Hence ABCD is required rectangle. (vi) Extend AB to the point E such that AE = 7 cm (vii) Draw a perpendicular bisector of AE which bisect AE at the point O. (viii)Draw a semicircle taking centre O and radius OA which intersect BC at the point P (ix) BP is the side of square (x) Take the same arc PB, from B and P then from R which cuts at Q Join BR, RQ, PQ then  BPQR is a required square.Read more on Sarthaks.com - /212493/draw-a-rectangle-of-length-4-cm-breadth-3-cm-and-draw-a-square-of-the-same-area
