Then area of square= side× side

= 5×5=25cm^2

One side of ractangle= 6cm

Other side of ractangle= x cm

Area of ractangle= length× breadth

25 =6×X

X=25/6

Then other side of ractangle=x=25/6

I hope it's helpful for you......

Answer:

Given: Length of Rectangle = 6 cm

           Area of rectangle = Area of Square

           Length of Side of Square = 5 cm

To find: Width of rectangle

Then to Draw rectangle.

Area of Square = Side × Side

                         = 5 × 5

                         = 25 cm²

⇒ Area of Rectangle = 25 cm²

Area of rectangle = Length × Breadth

6 × Breadth = 25

Breadth = \frca{25}{6}

             = 4.17 cm

             ≈ 4.2 cm

Now to draw A Rectangle ABCD with Length  = 6 cm & Breadth = 4.2 cm

We follow the following steps:

Step 1 : draw a line segment AB of length 6cm

Step 2 : construct right angles  at vertex A & B

Step 3 : Mark vertex C 4.2 cm away at 2nd arm of right angle at vertex B

Step 4 : Mark vertex D 4.2 cm away at 2nd arm of right angle at vertex A

Step 5 : Join CD

ABCD is required Rectangle.
