Given length of rectangle = 6 cm
Breath of rectangle = 4.5 cm
Perimeter of triangle = 2 ( 6+4.5)
= 2 × 10.5
21 cm
Area of rectangle = 6 × 4.5
= 27 cm sq
Let breath of another triangle be x and length be 2x
According to the question-
Perimeter= 2 (2x+x) = 21 cm
= 6x = 21
= x = 21/6, x= 7/2 and 2x= 7
Now area of this rectangle =
7/2 ×7
=49/2
=24.5 cm sq
