Rhombus ABCD is constructed in which AC - 6 cm & AB = 5 cm  & length of BD found to be 8 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

A rhombus has all its sides equal

AB = BC = CD = AD = 5 cm

Step 1 : Draw a line segment AB = 5 cm

Step 2 : Using Compass Taking width 6 cm Draw an arc taking A as center

Step 3 : Using Compass Taking width 5 cm Draw an arc taking B as center such that it intersect arc drawn in step 2 at C

Step 4 : Join BC

Step 5 : Using Compass Taking width 5 cm Draw an arc taking A as center

Step 6 : Using Compass Taking width 5 cm Draw an arc taking C as center such that it intersect arc drawn in step 5 at D

Step 7 : Join AD  & CD

Rhombus ABCD is constructed in which AC - 6 cm & AB = 5 cm

on Measurement BD found = 8 cm

Diagonal of Rhombus perpendicularly bisect Eact each other

let say AC & BD intersected at O

AO = OC = AC/2 = 6/2 = 3 cm

AO² + BO² = AB²

=> 3² + BO² = 5²

=> BO² = 16

=> BO = 4 cm

BC = 2 BO = 2 * 4 = 8 cm
