Given : a triangle whose area is equal to the area of the Rhombus whose sides are 6 cm and one angle of 60 degree

To Find : Construct triangle

Solution:

Draw rhombus

Step 1 : Draw a line segment AB' = 6 cm

Step 2: Draw an angle of 60° at   A on AB'

Step 3 : Take a length of 6 cm from A  on angle drawn and mark C

Step 4 : Using Compass width = 6 cm  and taking C and B' as center draw two arcs intersecting at D

Step 5 : Join CD and BD

Rhombus is constructed

Area of Rhombus  =  a²sinα

= 6²sin(60°)

= 6 * 6 sin(60°)

= (1/2) * 12  * 6 sin(60°)

Area of Triangle = (1/2)absinα

= (1/2)* 12 * 6 sin(60°)

Step 1 : Draw a line segment   AB = 12 cm

Step 2 : Draw an angle of 60° using protractor at A on AB

Step 3 : Take a length of 6 cm  from A on angle drawn and mark as C

Step 4 :  Join BC

ΔABC has same area as  Rhombus whose sides are 6 cm and one angle of 60 degree
