Draw a line AC, 6 cm long.

With A as centre and a radius of 6 cm draw arcs above and below the line AC.

With C as centre and the same radius of 6 cm draw arcs above and below the line AC to cut the arcs drawn earlier. Let the intersections be B and D. Join AB, BC, CD and DA and you have the desired rhombus. <ABC = <CDA = 60 deg, while <BAD = <BCD = 120 deg.
