Given :   AB = 5 cm , BC = 7 cm , ∠B = 90°   BD ⊥ AC

To Find : Draw a circle passing through B , C & D . and draw pair of tangent from A to circle

Step-by-step explanation:

Step 1 : Draw a line segment AB = 5 cm

Step 2 : Draw a right angle at B on AB using protractor/setsquare

Step 3 : take a length of 7 cm from B at angle drawn in step 2 and mark it as C

Step 4 : join AC

Right angle triangle ABC is constructed

Step 5 : taking appropriate width  of compass and taking B as center draw two arcs intersecting AC at E & F

Step 6 : Taking Appropriate compass with and taking E & F as center draw arcs intersecting at G

Step 7 :Draw  a line passing through G & B such that intersect AC at D

BD ⊥ AC

Step 8 : find mid point of BC  and mark its as O

Step 9 : taking compass width = OB = OC = OD and taking O as center draw a circle

a circle passing through B,Cand D constructed

Step 10 : AB is tangent to circle . , Take compass width = AB and taking A as center draw arc intersecting circle at  H

Step 11 : Join AH

AB & AH are pair of tangent from A to the circle.
