Answer:

In given figure ADC is right triangle with hypotenuse AB=9 cm and side AD=5 cm

We have constructed △ADC which is congruent to ADB using RHS

By RHS congruence condition if hypotenuse and one side of one right triangle are equal to hypotenuse and one side of other right triangle then both right triangles are congruent.

So, by RHS in ADB and ADC

AD=AD=one side equal

and AB=AC=hypotenuse

So, AD is already equal to AD as it is common side.

Then BD is extended such that we cut an arc on this line from point A of length 9 cm

This point is C and hence ADC is completed.
