The answer is 1.5A

Given,

Resister(R1) = 10 Ω

Resister(R2) = 1 Ω

Resister(R3) = 5 Ω

Voltage(V) = 24V

To Find,

The ammeter reading  = ?
Solution,

The ammeter reading  = Current flowing in the circuit(I)

Total resistance in the circuit = R1 + R2 + R3

R = 10 + 5 + 1 = 16 Ω

From the formula of voltage we know,

V = I x R

24 = I x 16

I = 24 / 16

I = 3 / 2

I = 1.5 A

Hence, the ammeter reading in the circuit is 1.5A.
