. Draw a schematic diagram of an electric circuit (in the 'on' position) consisting a battery of five cells of 2V each, a 5 ohm resistor, a 8ohm and 12ohm resistor, and
a plug key, all connected in series. An ammeter is put in the circuit to measure
the electric current through the resistors and a voltmeter is connected so as to
measure the potential difference across the 12 resistor. Calculate the reading
shown by the
Ammeter
Voltmeter connected to 12 ohm resistor

fine mark as brainleast and also don't forgot to follow me

Explanation:

10 V Battery ; Rest Components

Equivalent resistance = R1 +R2 +R3

                                          = 5 + 10 + 15

                                          = 30 Ω

Current in the circuit , I = V / R

(ii) Potential Differences across 5Ω  resistor , V = IR

                                           = 1/3 A × 5Ω

= 1.67 V
