The following are the stages of the cell's life cycle :

1. Interphase

In this phase, the cells starts preparing to undergo the process of division. This is the phase in which 3 stages occurs.

G1 Phase

Here, many cell organelles are duplicated.

But replication of DNA does not occur here.

G0 Phase : This is the stage where the cells do not divide until they are called to do so.

S Phase :

Here, the DNA gets duplicated. The DNA amount gets doubled.

G2 Phase :

Cell organelles such as chloroplasts, golgi bodies and mitochondria are duplicated in this stage.

2. M Phase

This is the the important phase where the cell gets divided actually.
