Differences between a double and single circulatory system
1. The heart is divided into four chambers in a double circulatory system, and only two chambers in a single circulatory system
2. In a double circulatory system the heart pumps deoxygenated and oxygenated blood through its chambers. In the single circulatory system the heart only pumps deoxygenated blood.
3. In a double circulatory system, there are two circuits of blood flow, where as in a single circulatory system, there is only one.
