1. Take compass, expand the compass to the length of 6 cm.

2. Keeping one end fixed, draw the circle of radii 6 cm having center O.

3. Draw the diameter(CD) of the circle passing through center O.

4. Keeping the nib of circle at center at O, and draw a semicircle on one end of diameter CD.

5. Mark, arc P from any end of semicircle,on the semicircle.Draw a ray, passing through through Point O and Point P.

6. ∠B O C= 60°

7. Part of the circle , COB is the required minor sector and C B is required minor arc.
