Answer:

Given : Area of square : 10 sq.cm

To find : Sides of square.

Formula : Area of square = ( Side )²

Solution :

Area of square = ( Side )²

10 = (x)²

( square goes this side and becomes underoot )

underoot 10 = (x)²

Side of the square is Underoot 10.

You can now draw a square...

I think there is a mistake in question... The area should be 100... then the side will be 10.

The figure of square of area 10sqcm is attached below.

Given:

Area of the square = 10sqcm

To Find:

Diagram of the square of given area

Solution:

  • In order to draw a square or any shape of given area, the first step is to find the dimensions of the shape so that with that dimensions, the entire shape would be drawn easily.
  • In the question, it is given to us to draw a square. So, we need to find the dimensions of the square of given area 10sqcm.Therefore,

WKT,

Area of square  =  a²

10 = a²

a = √10

a = 3.162cm

Therefore, the dimension od the square is 3.162cm. Thus we need to draw a square of side 3.162cm.

By doing so, we would be getting a square of area 10sqcm. The image attached shows the square of area 10sqcm.
