· 1885 - ""Indian National Congress"" was brought in and founded in Bombay to fight for political rights of the people.

· 1905 - Bengal Partition, announced by Lord Curzon caused turmoil amongst the general public. British Goods were boycotted and swadeshi goods were adopted and promoted.

· 1906 - Congress called for 'Swaraj' for establishing self-rule.

· 1906 - ""Muslim League"" was formed.

· 1906 - Term Satyagraha brought in by Gandhi ji as for ""non-violence movement"" in South Africa.

· 1907 - Congress split into moderates and extremists, Surat Session.

· 1909 - Morley Minto Reforms.

· 1911 - Capital of India shifted from Calcutta to Delhi.

· 1913 - Ghadar party was formed to overpower and throw away the British rule.

· 1914 to 1918 - India brought in the World War-I by Britain.
