Draw a triangle ABC in which AB = 5 cm , AC = 6 cm and BC = 7 cm . Then draw another triangle whose sides are 3/5 times the corresponding sides of triangle ABC .

first draw 5cm line AB
then taking 6cm on ur compass make an arc from A
then take 7cm on ur compass make an arc from B
then extend A in any angle below the triangle
taking any radius make an arc on that line
taking the point of intersection make another arc
repeat the same two steps again till u get 5 arc
then join the 5th arc with that of B
then using compass make the angle made by A 5th arc B on the third arc
extend the line made on third arc then it will intersect AB mark that point as D
then make an parallel line from point D to BC that intersect point AC mark that point as S
then a new triangle is formed that triangle is ADS
that is 3/5 of ABC
