Draw a triangle ABC in which AB = 5 cm, BC = 6 cm and ∠ABC = 60°. Then construct a triangle whose sides are  \frac{5}{7} times the corresponding sides of ∆ABC. ​

✭ Draw a line BC 6 cm

✭ Then construct a 60° with the vertex B

✭ Then using the campus draw an arc for 5 cm with the vertex B

✭ Join A & C and so ∆ABC has been constructed

✭ Now draw another line on the bottom and mark arks of a random radius

✭ Now draw a line from B⁵ to BC

✭ Measure the angle ∠ACB and then construct the same angle on the point where the point B⁵ join AB

✭ Hence the required triangles are constructed
