Draw a triangle ABC in which AB=6cm,BC=7cm and angle B=45° .Then construct a triangle whose sides are 5/8 of the corresponding sides of the triangle ABC.

step 1. draw base BC=7cm
step 2.from B draw a ray BX at 45°
step 3.draw an arc AB of 6 cm on BX.
step 4. join AC=4.5cm

xy=  \frac{5}{8}  \times 6 = 3.7 \\ yz=  \frac{5}{8}  \times 7 = 4.3 \\ zx =  \frac{5}{8}  \times 4.5 = 2.8
