Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

3/5 means smaller triangle than the original triangle

Steps of construction

1. Draw a line ad 9 cm

2. From A point measure 6 cm in the compass n draw an arc.

3. From B point measure 8 cm and draw an arc

4. Where the arc meet that is C point

Join AC and BC

5. From A point draw an acute angle ( no meet to measure exactly, just construct it less than 90°)

6. Take any measurement and from a point draw a small arc

Mark it A1

7. Keeping the distance constant draw a total of five arcs. As in the ratio denomination is five.

8. Join A5 and B point.

9. Measure the angle created by A A5 B by compass.

10. From A3 point draw an arc which is equivalent to the angle measured.

11. Find the distance between the angle created in A A5 B point.

12.In A3 where the arc intersects at A to A5 line , from that point cut the arc.

13. The point of intersection of both arcs and A3 join those both till it touches AB line.

14. Repeat this with B point too.

15.join the both arcs you get to AC line at C1.

Therefore A B1 C1 is 3 /5 of ABC

Thank you

Hope it helps u
