• A line segment of 4cm, AB drawn.
• On point B construct an angle of 90°.
• Draw BC, 3cm.
• Join A to C.
• Draw a ray of AX of A1, A2, A3,.....
• Join A3 to point B and A5 to B'.
• Construct an angle of 90° on point B.
• Remember that A3 B is parallel to A5 B' and BC is parallel to B'C'.
• Now, AB'C is the required triangle whose sides are 5/3 of the corresponding sides of the first triangle.
