1. Firstly draw a line AB . Construct the perpendicular bisector of AB. Let it intersect AB at point D.
2. No, cut an arc of radius 4.5cm on the bisector. Let the point be C.
4. Now, at point C, construct an angle of 30°
5. on both the sides of CD with C as vertex such that ∠ECD = ∠FCD =30°
6. Thus, ΔCEF is an equilateral triangle with the length of median = 4.5 cm.
