a) During uniform motion the acceleration of the body is 0 therefore the velocity time graph for a uniform motion is a graph line parallel to the time axis where slope (i.e acceleration) = 0

b) During uniformly accelerated motion the graph is a straight line passing through the origin with a constant slope.

c) During uniformly retarded motion the graph is a straight line downwards which shows decreasing velocity at a uniform rate.

Explanation:

1) Uniform speed :-

■■ ⇨ In uniform speed the velocity of a body is uniform through out the time it perform a displacement between it's initial and final position.

So a speed time graph for a body moving with a constant speed is straight and parallal with the time axis.

2) Uniform Acceleration :-

■■⇨In Constant or uniform acceleration a body moves with a uniform acceleration, it's speed changes in equal amount in equal interval of time. In other word the speed become directly proportional with the time. ✔

In a speed time graph for a body moves in uniform accelaration will be straight start from origin and moves straight forward or upwards with an angle

* theta *(●)✔

3) Uniform retardation :-

■■⇨In uniform or constant retardation a body performs a constant negative acceleration or retardation through out the total displacement from initial position to final position.

The speed time graph of uniform retardation the line moves downward at angle

*theta *(●)✔
