Draw a velocity time graph to show car is accelerates uniformally from rest 5 second and then it travelled at uniform velocity for next 5 second if its maximum velocity is 20m/s find the distance travelled by a car

iiii63027: I would like to help but do u think i can make the diagram here? Ill surely amke and send u the pic soon

The distance is s=ut +1/2 at2 for 1st five sec and s=vt but we need to find a that is a=v -u /t = 4 m/s
S = 50 and for 2nd s=100 total distance = 150 m

iiii63027: I cant send u the graph sorry
iiii63027: I see someone watchig did i do correct?
Tarunkumaryadav: Thanks But i am not understand please tell me what is the value of u and v
iiii63027: U is initial velocity and v is final velocity
iiii63027: The 3 equations of motion
Tarunkumaryadav: I know that U is the initial velocity and V is the final velocity but what is the value of U and V to find a=v-u/t=4m/s how
iiii63027: U =0 as ir started from rest and v= 20 as ot was the highest v attained. ( consider this for the first 5 seconds ) then a = 20 -0 /5 =4 m /s2 .for the next 5 seconds v is uniform so s=vt and s =20 ×5= 100
iiii63027: As it* in 1st sentence andas it in the 2nd sentence . ( sorry for spelling mistakes
iiii63027: I wrote ir and ot
Tarunkumaryadav: Thanks
