• On heating water vapour are formed up that rise up transfer into another tube.
• It is then passed through condenser C.
• Cold water from the tap is circulated in the outer of the condenser. So that hot vapours get cooled.
• Then the vapours condensed and collect in other beaker.
• Then this pure water is called distilled water
