lets take a random angle,say........something you cant get from constructing...like 63°

draw it with your protractor

next,in a different place...draw a line of any length(preferably 5 to 7 cm)

name one end A and the other X(so the line is basically AX)

at your first 63 ° angle which you drew with a protractor,put your compass needle at the vertex and draw an arc cutting both the arms of the angle

now take the measurement between your vertex and the place where it has cut the arms

at from A, draw an arc cutting AX at a point (name it C)

next,

at your 63°,measure the distance between the points where the arc has cut the two arms of the angle

now place your compass needle at C and that radius, cut the arc at a point(name it D)

join AD and extend the line

voila!your 63° angle has been constructed!
