An isosceles ΔABC is constructed with AB = AC and base BC = 7 cm and vertical angle is 120°

Step-by-step explanation:

BC = 7 cm

AB = AC

=> ∠B = ∠C

∠A = 120°

∠A + ∠B + ∠C = 180°

=> ∠B + ∠C =  60°

∠B = ∠C =  30°

Step 1 : Draw a line segment BC = 7 cm using ruler

Step 2: Draw an angle of 30° at B on BC using protector

Step 3: Draw an angle of 30° at C on BC using protector such that it intersect angle drawn in step 2 at A

ΔABC is constructed

AB' = 1 1/3 = 4/3 times of AB

Step 1  : Extend line AB

Step 2 : Draw an acute angle at A on AB

Step 3 : Take 4 point one by one consecutively at equal distnace on angle drawn from A

Step 4 : Join 3rd point with B

Step 5 : Draw a line parallel to line drawn in step 4 , passing through 4th point & intersecting extended AB at B'
