ΔABC is constructed n which BC=5.5cm and altitude AL=3cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Step 1 : Draw a line segment BC = 5.5 cm

Step 2 : Using compass taking width silghtly less than BC Draw arc taking B as center on both sides of BC

Step 3 : Keeping same width of compass as in step 2 , draw arcs taking C as center such that it intersect arcs drawn in step 2 at P & Q

Step 4 : join PQ intersecting BC at L

Step 5 : From L , take length of 3 cm on PQ and label other end as A

Step 6 : Join AB & AC

ΔABC is constructed

to get 3/4 of a Side

Step 1: Draw an acute angle at B on BC

Step 2 : Mark one by one four points on equal distance on angle drawn using compass

Step 3 join 4th point with C

Step 4 : Draw a line parallel to line drawn in step 3 , Passing through 3rd point & intersecting BC at  M

BM = (3/4)BC
