In order to draw an obtuse angled triangle first of all we have to take an arbitrary obtuse angle at the one end of the straight line and on the other end we have to draw an acute angle.

After extending those two angles we will get a third interior angle which will be acute.

In order to draw the orthocenter of obtuse angle we have to find the point of intersection of the three altitudes of the triangle.

The most important point to be noted is in case of an obtuse angle triangle the orthocenter lies outside the triangle.

Hi,

solution:

Steps of construction:

Draw a base line of any length, mark it BC. At B draw an obtuse angle mark that line point A. join A and C points. ΔABC thus formed is obtuse angle triangle.

To draw altitudes extend each point with dashed line,as shown in attached figure, outside of the triangle you will find that point O where all three lines meets. That point O known as orthocentre.

The ortho centre of Obtuse triangle lie outside the triangle.

Hope it helps you.
