Function of nephron :-
1)Filtration :- filtration of blood takes place in bowman capsule from the capillaries of glomerulus . this takes place in high pressure . this filterate contains glucose, amino acid , urea , uric acid , salt and major amount of water .
2) Reabsorption :- As filterate flows along the tubule useful substance such as glucose, amino acid and others r selectively reabsorbed into the blood by capillaries surrounding the nephron tubulr.
The fluid entering the collective tubule called urine . it flows through the ureters into urinary bladder where it is stored and discharged from time to time through urethra .
