Adding ( 1 ) and ( 2 ),

⇒ ∠BAC+∠DAC=∠DCA+∠BCA

⇒ ∠BAD=∠DCB

Similarly, we can prove, ∠ADC=∠ABC

∴ We have proved that, opposite angles of a parallelogram are equal.
