Solution:

Angle of 150 degree using Compasses:

You can draw angle of 150° using compass by following way

→→ Angle Bisector of 120° and 180°.

1. First draw a straight angle = 180°, by drawing an straight line and at any point drawing semicircle with the help of compass.

2. The point where the first arc is cut on the semicircle from any side of semicircle cutting the line segment, is either an angle of 120° or 60°.If it is an angle of 60°, draw another arc from the point on the semicircle ,that is from the first arc to make an angle equal to 120°.

3. Draw angle bisector of the angles that is of 180° and 120°. Mark arcs from point on the semicircle where an angle of 120° and 180° is formed, in upward direction by keeping the mouth of compass unchanged. The point where these two arcs meet ,draw ray from the point where you have drawn straight angle. You will get an angle of 150°.

→With the help of protractor ,keep the protractor at the point on the line segment , where you want to draw an angle of 150°.Mark point on your notebook, where an angle of 150° is marked on the protractor, because on two sides of protractor angle of 150° is marked, as angle of 150° is obtuse,so you have to chose that side where obtuse angle is formed.

→To draw an angle equal to 150°

1. Open the mouth of compass.Measure the length of arc between segment and that ray where an angle of 150° is drawn.

2. Draw a line segment of your choice. Put the tip of compass on one end of line segment, and keeping the width of arc unchanged draw a semicircle ,and mark arc on semicircle, with the help of compass, keeping the arc length same, which you have measured in step 1.

This is required angle, which is equal to 150°.
