Given :  obtuse angled triangle

To Find : construct the perpendicular bisector of its 3 sides.

name the point of concurrence​

Solution:

Step 1 :  Draw a line segment AB

Step 2 : Draw an angle between 90° and 180° on B at AB

Step 3 :  Take any point C on angle Drawn

Step 4 : Join AC

Obtuse angled triangle is  constructed

Construct perpendicular bisector of AB

Step 5 :  Using Compass width Slightly less than AB , taking A as center draw arcs on both sides of AB

Step 6 : Keeping compass width same ,  taking B as center draw arcs on both sides of AB such that it intersects arc drawn in previous step  at P & Q

Step 7 : Join PQ and draw a line

This is perpendicular bisector of AB

Similarly draw perpendicular bisector of BC & AC

which meets at point O

the point of concurrence​ is called circumcenter
