it is the SODIUM.

electronic configuration of sodium is 2,8,1

so you have to draw 2 atoms in K shell , 8 atoms in L shell and 1 atom in M shell

jazz49: than what is the use of atomic no.
jazz49: in question
KatariyaDhruvit: it can be used to find electronic configurations
KatariyaDhruvit: plz make it brainleast
jazz49: sorry but can you explain
KatariyaDhruvit: atomic number represents the no. of protons in an atom and we know that no.of proton = no. of electron so we get 11 electrons now we know that K shell gets 2 electrons L shell gets 8 electrns and M shell get 1 electrn so the total will be 11
jazz49: thank you very much
