EXPLANATION.

Graph of the linear equation.

⇒ y = 2x + 7.

As we know that,

Put the value of x = 0 in equation, we get.

⇒ y = 2(0) + 7.

⇒ y = 7.

Their Co-ordinates = (0,7).

Put the value of y = 0 in equation, we get.

⇒ (0) = 2x + 7.

⇒ 2x = -7.

⇒ x = -7/2.

⇒ x = -3.5.

Their Co-ordinates = (-3.5,0).

It's given that we have to draw graph of the equation 2x+7 so firstly here y = 2x+7 Now let's draw a graph and solve this question.

Firstly let us put 0 as x in the given equation.

⟹ y = 2x+7

⟹ y = 2(0) + 7

⟹ y = 0+7

⟹ y = 7

Hence, we get 7 as the value of y.

  • We get coordinates as (0,7)

Now putting 0 as y in the given equation.

⟹ y = 2x+7

⟹ 0 = 2x+7

⟹ 0-7 = 2x

⟹ -7 = 2x

⟹ -7/2 = x

⟹ -3.5 = x

⟹ x = -3.5

Henceforth, we get x as -3.5

  • Therefore, the coordinates are (-3.5,0)
