  1. Take a graph, a pencil and a scale to draw the variation of currents.
  2. Draw two straight horizontal line, one below the other on the graph paper ad cut that lines from one vertical line from the left side of the line from start.
  3. Now, the vertical line shows the value of current (the amplitude of wave) and horizontal lines shows the time.
  4. For direct current, draw horizontal straight line parallel to the upper horizontal line on the upper side.
  5. And for alternating current, draw a sinusoidal curve with alternating increment and decrement in amplitude always of same value from horizontal line showing time.
