When the body covers equal distances in equal intervals of time and vice versa, it is said to be moving in uniform motion.

The distance time graph for the uniform motion is always a straight line.
Examples :
- Suppose that the distance from one place to another place is 30 m and the body covers 10 m in 8 seconds then 10 m in 8 seconds and again 10 m in 8 seconds.
As the body is covering equal distances in equal intervals of time, thus it has uniform motion.
