Dicots,:
1. the seeds produced by these plants have embryo with two leaves, the cotyledons.
2.the root system has a prominent tap root .
3. the flowers have five or multiple of petals.
4.the vascular bundles are arranged in a ring.
for example: pea ,, apple,potato, etc.
Monocot stem:
1.the seeds of these plants have only one cotyledon.
2. the root system consists of similar fibrous roots.
3. the flowers are trimerous.
4. the vascular bundles are scattered and closed.
for example:onion,rice coconut ,etc.
