Binary fission
Explanation:
Binary fission is a method of asexual reproduction. Amoeba reproduces by this asexual method.
As the name indicates, the parent cell splits into two to form two new daughter cells. The process first begins in the nucleus where it splits to form two nuclei. Then the cytoplasm begins to divide and gradually the two daughter cells separate completely. Example: Bacteria and Paramecium.
