HUMAN●HEART

◆HUMAN HEART IS A MUSCULAR ORGAN WHICH PUMPS THE BLOOD INTO ALL PARTS OF OUR BODY.

(1)STRUCTURE EXPLANATION:-

THE HEART IS DIVIDED INTO FOUR CHAMBERS TWO UPPER ATRIUM AND TWO LOWER VENTRICLES.

THE INNER-ATRIUM SEPTUM SEPARATES THE TWO ATRIA AND THE INTER - VENTRICULAR SEPTUM SEPARATES THE TWO VENTRICLES.

SUPERIOR AND INFERIOR VENACAVA OPEN INTO THE RIGHT ATRIUM

THE RIGHT VENTRICLE OPENS INTO THE PULMONARY ARTERY.

FOR PULMONARY VEINS OPENS INTO THE LEFT ATRIUM.

THE LEEFT VENTRICLE OPENS INTO THE AORTA.

THE OPENING BETWEEN THE RIGHT ATRIUM AND VENTRICLE IS GUARDED BY TRICUSPID VALVE .

AND BETWEEN LEFT ATRIUM AND VENTRICLE IT IS GUARDED BY BICUSPID VALVE ( MITRAL VALVE).

(2)WORKING OF HUMAN HEART:-

●OXYGEN - RICH BLOOD FROM LUNGS COMES TO THE THIN-WALLED UPPER LEFT ATRIUM. IT RELAXES WHEN IT IS COLLECTING THIS BLOOD. IT THEN CONTRASTS,THEN LEFT VENTRICLE EXPANDS SO, THAT BLOOD WILL TRANSFERRED TO IT.WHEN THE MUSCULAR LEFT VENTRICLE CONTRASTS IN ITS TURN THE BLOOD IS PUMPED OUT TO THE BODY. DE-OXYGENATED BLOOD COMES TO RIGHT ATRIUM AS IT EXPANDS.WHEN. CONTRACTS THE RIGHT VENTRICLE DILATES THE BLOOD THEN TRANSFERED TO RIGHT VENTRICLE WHICH IN TURN PUMPS IT TO THE LUNGS FOR OXYGENATION.
